On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Fairtrade in Germany, a series of soaps was developed by our Syrian soap master Mohamad Khiro from Aleppo. The important Fairtrade raw materials play the main role. They are handmade into solid soaps and offered in jubilee packs. Integrated into the Fairtrade campaign ”The Talking Products”. Behind the QR code is a film about the origin and manufacture of the product. Coffee shaving soap provides a safe, comfortable and smooth shave. The product can be used for daily wet shaving, as it prevents skin impurities. It provides optimal care for the skin and has a light, pleasant smell of coffee.

The soap is minimalistically packaged in a paper box. And is 100% zero waste. Thus, this is yet another plastic product banned from the bathroom. This product contains natural, vegan and fair trade ingredients. Through fair trade conditions, small farmers* and workers* can invest the growing countries in a sustainable future.

Application: Lather the soap directly between the palms with a little water, then spread the foam.

The soap master from Aleppo
Our soap master Mohamad Khiro has come a long way. He had to flee Aleppo in Syria with his family, leaving behind his destroyed soap factory. In Cologne, at Fair Squared, he is restoring, among other things, famous Aleppo soap, continuing a long tradition. Fair Squared is grateful to him for his motivation, craftsmanship and creativity that eventually led to our soaps. Each and every soap is personally stirred, poured, cut and stamped by him. Therefore, the portrait of the ”soap master from Aleppo” rightly adorns every single soap packaging.
